This could bring about a push-me-pull-you feel that things are going pretty well, but not so much, but yeah they’re OK, but… Tonight into tomorrow is a good time to take stock of power structures and responsibilities and to get things done.
The Mercury-Uranus square is exact just before 9am ET, and the Moon will conjoin Uranus and square Mercury this evening. This could be a high-energy day for anyone involved personally or professionally with ideas, words, thinking, technology, sales, and more. It doesn’t mean that everything will necessarily flow smoothly, but “stuff will happen.” If it’s moving too fast for you, capture the best of it in a journal or recording to come back to later.
Out of the gate, the Moon squares Pluto and later Saturn, inviting conflict in areas of power, position, and authority. The Moon trines the Sun today in fire signs, bringing a note of harmony and energy to the day. She’s waning, but we may experience some breakthroughs. She’s square Jupiter late tonight, so we may try to get too much done. Try to check yourself on what you can really accomplish. Before dawn, Luna conjoins Mars, making the very late night a time for high energy and perhaps some unleashing of (righteous) anger, especially since she’ll be applying to square Pluto shortly afterwards.
The Moon squares Venus this morning just a few minutes before entering Aries. On the one hand, the conflict might dissipate since Luna almost immediately leaves the sign of the square. On the other, it’s Aries, so maybe not. On the other paw, Venus herself enters Cancer late this morning. While there, she’ll square Mars off and on for the month, so the tension is likely to persist through the beginning of September. Moon-Mercury connections tonight make communications a little easier, even if they get excited at times.
Luna contacts Jupiter and conjoins Neptune in Pisces today, giving us more of a feeling of optimism than we’ve had in a while. Overnight she cooperates with Saturn to make tasks a little easier.

Today’s Mars-Jupiter square makes us ambivalent about wanting to work and wanting to sit on the couch and watch Tiktok. We may feel some blocks, and while some may be pushed far enough to speak out, others may not. Don’t assume that they don’t have opinions. Luna squares Uranus and opposes the Sun today (Full Moon), so this could be a very active time, trying on new things and maybe hitching yourself to a new wagon.
