Astrological Almanac for Friday, October 11, 2024
(All times Eastern)
Pluto turns direct today. Normally, this is no big deal, since he spends six months every year retrograde. But this marks the end of his final foray into Capricorn. He’s been skirting the border between Capricorn and Aquarius for a while now. By November, he’s out of Capricorn for another 240+ years. The part of your chart where Pluto is may experience some real motion forward now.
Early morning is not great for trying to communicate in any logical way, and we may have a rebellious attitude on top of it. Just before Pluto turns direct, the Moon comes across it, inspiring strongly obsessive thoughts and feelings. At 12:31, Luna enters Aquarius, beginning to lift that intensity and to bring a focus on the community and looking forward.
