The Moon squares Jupiter at midday, “enhancing” whatever emotion or feeling is going on, for good or bad. It’s a good time to remember not to overdo things, if you need to make note of that. The Sun enters Virgo at 11:16pm, marking the last month of the northern summer season. The final harvests are coming up soon, and it’s appropriate that so much of the northern hemisphere begins the academic year with the Sun in Mercury’s sign. Though the heat may still be intense in some places, especially with the number of areas that have experienced drought in the US, the cooling season is within sight.
