Astrological Almanac for Monday, July 10, 2023

Mars enters Virgo this morning, and just after midnight, Mercury enters Leo. So we are likely to feel an energetic shift at the beginning of the week. In both cases, these planets are likely to improve their functioning slightly, and be a bit clearer for the next few weeks. Mercury also opposes Pluto today, frustrating communications and thought processes. See the Weekly Post for details.
The morning may work out nicely on a personal level, as the Moon and Venus cooperate. This is at odds with other planetary aspects today, so it’s probably that some areas of relationships will flow well, while others are tense.
The afternoon adds to the tension as the Moon conflicts with the Mercury-Pluto opposition (already a challenging aspect).
At 7:55pm, the Moon enters Taurus, and connects nicely with Mars, bringing a bit more calm to the mix, and helping focus energies that may have been quite scattered through much of the day.
