Astrological Almanac for Monday, September 6, 2021

(All times Eastern)
Today sees three of the week’s planetary aspects perfect (become exact): first, Mars trine Pluto, and Sun trine Uranus. Both of these argue for strong change, though being trines, not of a harsh nature; they tend to mark something that has been a long time coming that finally works out, or something that has been held off for a long time that happens despite your best efforts. The other is Venus trine Jupiter, which sets an optimistic, pacific stage for everything else to play out on. See the weekly context post for more details.
At 8:51 pm, the Moon catches the Sun to bring about the New Moon in Virgo. Remember that this is a time to plan rather than act. Wait at least three days until the Moon is visible to put plans into motion. The Sun and Moon are exactly trine to Uranus in Taurus (another trine, signaling a working together); they are not far from Mars, also in Virgo, and opposite fuzzy Neptune. This month may see a lot of effort at trying to bring about pragmatic change that is overdue, and finally starts to happen. It will affect land issues, food production, and labor, as well as areas of comfort. At the exact moment of the Full Moon, Venus is also exactly trine to Jupiter, mentioned above and in the weekly context. So it’s likely to be an active month with strong, but not violent, change on the ground.
