Venus squares Uranus tonight, bringing some instability to personal relationships, especially for those who have natal placements in the middle of the fixed signs (Taurus, Aquarius, Leo, Scorpio). The urge to be free and independent is strong right now, and commitments may be wavering. We may be inclined to choose excitement over commitment, without keeping the long view in mind. If you are in a committed relationship that is fairly stable, now is a good time to try to spice things up or try new things together – ones that don’t involve feelings of being smothered or clingy. The Moon’s contact with Saturn for most of the day goes against this energy, and pushes us toward stability and commitment; so we may be dealing with contradictory urges now. It’s OK to fulfill small obligations, especially non-relationship ones, but don’t get too bogged down in the “right” way to do things today.
The last quarter Moon is tonight, which enhances the sense of letting go in areas of our life that arent’ serving us. And Luna contacts Pluto overnight in a way that brings some attention to power issues and imbalances.
