Astrological Almanac for Saturday, March 9, 2024

Published by chris on

(All times Eastern)

Today’s big shifts are the Mars-Uranus square, the Sun-Uranus sextile, and Mercuries entrance into Aries. The Uranus action with those other planets could be explosive. He is often seen as a liberator, but not in a gentle way, so be on guard for shifting directions and sudden changes. Mercury leaves Pisces, where they are great for art and poetry, but not as good for logic and clarity; Aries should help with those. See the Weekly Post for more.

The first half of the day may have a serious tone to it, even with the potentially sudden shifts. This can feel isolating, but be good for finishing projects or finalizing responsibilities. The New Moon is Sunday at 5:00am EDT (note that the clocks move forward shortly before that). It’s a good time to lay plans that we can begin executing in a few days, when the Moon is visible again.
