Astrological Almanac for Sunday, September 22, 2024

Overnight into Sunday, the Moon makes some nice aspects, for a generally good time. At 6:24am, Luna enters Gemini, where she brings the social and the talkative to the fore. This is reinforced by the Sun’s entry into Libra, another air sign, at 8:43am. The northern Fall Equinox marks the beginning of the dark time, and the beginning of the sleep cycle. As the day goes on, tensions may rise, with the Venus-Pluto square. If you have planets at the very end of cardinal signs (Libra, Capricorn, Aries, Cancer), or the very beginning of the fixed signs (esp. Scorpio and Aquarius), the nice Air vibes of the Sun and Moon may get lost in this tension. See the Weekly Post again.
At 10:36pm, Venus enters Scorpio, where she’s quite uncomfortable. The goddess of love and pleasure is dressed now in the trappings of the martial artist warrior. She can take things too personally, and is prone to jealousy here. So be aware for the next few weeks that relationships, art, and pleasurable pursuits may be a challenge.
