Astrological Almanac for Wednesday, June 21, 2023

(All times Eastern)

The Summer Solstice for the northern hemisphere is today at 10:57am. Though we are pointed most directly at the Sun now, it will take a while for the summer heat to arrive. But the days are longest now, and nights shortest. See the Weekly Post for more.

Just after the solstice, Mercury and Mars connect in a nice way that, at least for a day or so, gives us some focus and speed with communications.

Wednesday morning may feel a bit off or overindulgent. We may have a hard time with self control, so beware.

This evening should be nice, as Luna and Venus hang out together in flashy Leo. Go out for a midweek celebration or to meet up with friends.
