Astrological Almanac for Wednesday, October 2, 2024
(All times Eastern)
There’s a solar eclipse today at 10 Libra. Which also means a new Moon (at 2:49pm). The chart for the eclipse is not a fantastic one; see the Weekly Post for more info.
Now at the dark of Moon is a good time to gather forces, make plans, rest, etc. Wait at least 3 days or until the Moon is visible before beginning new actions.
This evening, the Moon squares off with Mercury, and later with Mars. This is definitely not the night to try to communicate important information, especially of a sensitive nature. Arguments are more likely than understanding now.
