(All times Eastern)

Today the Mercury-Pluto square is exact, likely instigating some passive-aggressive behavior as well as some wily speech-craft as well as mental intensity. Venus’s opposition to Uranus affects the day as well, and into tomorrow. The social scene may be more exciting (and excitable) than usual, and we may engage in, or witness, displays of unconventional behavior, and even relational or artistic rebellion. While these two aspects are taking place in different degrees & signs, they both argue for some agitation, and if anyone has points affected by both, it’s likely to be a few “interesting” days.

At 3:21 pm, the Sun enters Libra, officially beginning the fall season in the north. The equinox is a time of balance, though it may be hard this year with the Full Moon so recently behind us and the above-mentioned planetary aspects in force. On top of it, Libra’s ruler is Venus, who is now mired in Scorpio and will have a hard time being very balanced herself for at least a couple more weeks. This is not all a “bad” scenario, just one that’s a bit different from the stereotypes. But we are definitely descending into the dark time of the year.

The Moon continues in energetic Aries today, and this evening will connect with Jupiter, Pluto, and Mercury, all short succession in a way that intensifies and extends the planetary aspects mentioned above.
