Astrological Context, Week of December 16, 2024
(All times Eastern)
Remember that these aspects (aside from entry into new signs) will be in effect a few days before and a few days after the exact dates listed here. So keep this in mind when reading the daily updates this week.
On Wednesday, Sun squares Neptune. Be careful what you put in your body & spirit, be it food, words, attitudes. Negativity and negative physical reactions are likely now if we’re not careful. We may also lack direction or power.
Later Thursday, Venus trines Jupiter, a very positive swing toward social graces, popularity, and all-around good feeling.
Saturday at 4:20am ET the Sun enters Capricorn, beginning northern Winter. Each season’s start is chaotic, and we enter the coldest time of the year. This is also the longest night (Fri-Sat) and the days start to get longer. We focus now on pragmatic things and survival issues.
