On Monday at 7:40am, Mars enters Virgo. This takes a bit of the extra fiery edge off that he had in Leo, and brings sharp focus to Virgo activities like editing, paring down, positive discrimination (e.g., “this is not that”), and pragmatism. We may have to be careful not to overdo the critical nature here. But it’s a really good month and a half for getting rid of/cutting out what no longer serves you or even hinders you. Time to “Marie Kondo” your wardrobe, friends list, extra activities and over-involvements.
Mercury also opposes Pluto on Monday. This can bring serious stress when it comes to communications and self expression. We may feel quite oppressed now, and as though others are shoving their ideas down our throats. Remember that others may feel the same about you now, too, so be aware of how you come across if you don’t want that to be their takeaway.
On Tuesday, Mercury leaves Cancer and enters Leo. This can bring a sense of pride around intellectual accomplishments and a burst of communications. It can also make us feel as if we know better than others, which may or may not be the case.
The Sun sextiles Uranus on Friday, offering some real opportunities for innovation and change. Progress and intellectualism are at the forefront, and we may have the chance to work with others to bring about social change.
