Astrological Context, Week of July 12-18

(All times Eastern)
Here are the non-lunar aspects for the week. They are exact when indicated, but will likely be felt at least a few days before and after the moment of perfection (the exact aspect coming together).
The Mercury-Jupiter trine on Monday afternoon will begin to clear up the information fuzziness that last week’s Mercury-Neptune square created. The first half of the week should see somewhat clearer thought, more positive thinking, and overall better judgment than last week.
On Tuesday, Venus conjoins Mars in Leo, though it’s already quite close and we’ll experience the effects for most of the week. These planets bring together what we want (Venus) and what we don’t want (Mars) in a dramatic sign. The male and female poles (and all that’s between those) merge into a creative force that wants to display itself. Take the time to create; make art, music, love (not war!).
Later in the week, the Sun trines Neptune in water signs, bringing about seriously heightened sensitivity and awareness for those with planets that contact them (mid-late Cancer, Pisces, Virgo, Capricorn, especially). Intuition is likely to be stronger than normal, and we may even feel that sensitivity in our bodies. Try not to get lost in the sea of input you may experience.
Finally, the Sun opposes Pluto next weekend. There may be a lot of tension in the air for those with personal points and planets in later cardinal signs (Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, Libra). Power struggles may arise, and non-rational urges and drives mark these days.
