Astrological Context, Week of October 10, 2022

This week is back to busy, starting with Mercury entering Libra once again on Monday. They were there recently for the first part of their retrograde cycle, and now they’re leaving Virgo for the year. With both Mercury, Sun, and Venus in Libra, this month is likely to be one where we seek to rebalance relationships of all sorts. Libra is a cardinal sign and is anything but static, so we’re not likely to arrive at stasis, but we can seek more justice in our relationships with others.
On Tuesday, the Sun trines Saturn, and Venus does so on Friday. These encourage us to take relationships and life goals seriously, and it’s a good time to make and execute plans in those areas.
However, on Wednesday, Mars squares Neptune, and Mercury opposes Jupiter, so we may have a hard time finding the clarity we want right now. We might find the details challenging, and we might not be totally sure of our direction overall. So don’t try to fix everything now, and limit your focus and your energy.
